FreeFrog Designs is a freelance graphic+print+web design company. Since 1994, FreeFrog Designs has brought its unique brand of graphic design to print and the web – yes, I do remember paste-up and using the Mosaic web browser. Founded by Nicolas "FreeFrog" Solberg, FreeFrog Designs offers full graphic design services for corporate, small business and individual clients.

Call it what you like – consulting, freelancing or contract work – but visual design is what I do. With a huge range of clients and projects under my belt, I can pretty much do whatever, but here are my key areas of strength:

  • iconWeb Design – full website design and development, existing site makeovers, custom web graphics, or monthly upkeep & maintenance.
  • Print Design – virtually any type of print project from large or small, 1- to 4-color, fancy or simple. I started in print design and I love it.
  • Branding & Logo Design – everything from individual company or product logos to full branding campaigns so you can build your brand/identity.
  • Custom Illustration & Icon Design – be they simple avatars for a forum, to game icons, to unique vector illustrations, my styles of illustration are always creative.
  • UI & Interface Design – from conceptual mockups to full-fledged vector or raster interfaces you can then implement for a specific product/application.
  • Semi-Pro Photography – specializing in natural light, I can do product, people, nature, architectural or even event photo shoots.
  • Audio & Loop Sounds – custom electronic musical or abstract sounds to fit your next product, be it game, website, podcast or vidcast.

Modus Operandi
It sounds heady, but every designer should have a method of operating. Here are some of mine:

  • Formal Training – to acheive great design you need a foundation. I have a background in typography, printing, art, design & color theory. My web/tech skills have been honed over many years and by the nature of the web are always evolving.
  • Real-world Pricing – I offer both hourly rates and flat design rates depending on your needs. Hourly rates are billed by the quarter hour; flat rates depend on the size, complexity and length of a project.
  • Cohesive Print & Web Design – you should look as good in print as on the web. You'll find my experience in both web and print design means you'll always look good in either medium.
  • Ego-free Interaction – design work requires time and creativity, but it also requires collaboration. I work with you to find the right design that you want, instead of forcing a design on you.
  • Reliability and Timeliness – most creative types don't like deadlines, but time is money, and if your schedule demands exact deadlines I meet them.
