Common weapons and armor materials:

Riso is a bamboo-like plant that can be use "as is" for arrows, and pole-arms, or pressed to hold and edge.

Hardwood is any type of wood -- most commonly found in the Hoshen Kingdom -- that can be cut and lacquered to make weapons, armor, shields, etc.

Hensha is a ceramic made in the Yellow Lands that properly treated creates a strong material capable of holding an edge.

Lorvat is a type of hard stone not unlike obsidian that if properly chipped can make a extremely sharp edge. It is rare.
