The Hoshen
Kingdoms
The Hoshen are martial and disciplined (think feudal Japan/China). The Hoshen are dark skinned, some body hair, with strong frames averaging 6' in height. The Hoshen make great warriors, collectors, laborers, air sailors, etc. Some know the ways of Kurata, which is a more refined form of Prang magic, that focuses on drawn symbols and sounds combined. The Hoshen hold great respect for their long time adversaries, the Prang. They enjoy the discipline and practice their age-old skirmishes with Prang give them. They acknowledge the Pontari as equals, but are often at odds with them. They dislike the free-spirited Mayedans and would like to see them corralled and enslaved. They are envious of the Zirtese, with whom they have warred for generations. They long to take Zirtese lands and learn their Zanzu ways. They see the Zu'ar as weak Prang, suitable only as servants. They know little of the Drenas. They are very worried about the Azor-Naraza's expansion and greatly fear the Mark of Brume.
