The Yellow
Lands
The Mayedans are roguish and adventurous (think sinbad adventures). The Mayedans are medium skinned, have average frames, lots of body hair, and average 5 1/2'. They make great rogues, pirates, traders, air sailors, adventurers, miners, etc. Mayedans know no magics -- such foolishness takes time away from fun and profit -- but are fond of the Zanzu wares the Zirtese offer, and all are notoriously lucky people. The Mayedans disdain the lofty Pontari, but get rich either selling to them, or stealing from them. They admire the Hoshen, but pity their compulsive discipline, overly violent behavior, and general lack of zest for life. They admire, but fear the Prang, whom they occasionally battle in the skies. They adore the often diminutive, always eccentric, and infinitely inventive Zirtese. They treat the Zirtese with unusual respect and seldom steal/con them. They admire the grace and sensuality of the Zu'ar, though find their abstract way of thinking annoying. They find the Drenas truly bizarre. They loath the Azor-Naraza, who have stolen and turned their people into Brumar for many years.
