The Pontari

The Pontari are influential and manipulative (think Roman/Byzantine empires). The Pontari are fair skinned, have waifish frames, have little body hair, and average 6 1/2' in height. They make great merchants, architects, scholars, actors, aristocrats, though they are known to be adept warriors of the finesse arts. Some are born with the gift of Rhyanor, which gives them great mental powers. They shun the ways of most magics as primitive superstitions. The Pontari acknowledge the value and uses of all the intelligent races, including their own Hoshen and Mayedans brethren, but are hard pressed to discover the value of the Azor-Naraza. That said, all races serve a purpose.
