The Prang (The Ridge
Riders)
The Prang are one of the old races of Rhunyen. Only a small number of their kind survived the Night of the Fallen. They are a rugged, passionate and often cruel race of four-armed, reptilian humanoids. Their features are bony, angular and very predatory, with rust red to bright orange skin that is rough and leathery. They average 8' in height with wiry, but strong frames. The Prang make great warriors, raiders, scouts, aerial explorers, and some have the discipline to learn Zur -- a combat-centric form of magic based on sounds and symbols. The Prang respect any race that'll put up a fight. They despise cowards and they accept being bested occasionally. To this end they greatly admire the Hoshen, Mayedans and the wild Azor, however the Prang have an almost phobic fear of the Azor-Naraza from the Empire of Brume. They dislike and somewhat fear the Pontari, whom they see as diabolical. They both respect, but dislike the Zirtese for using dirty tricks and for allying with their bastard brethren, the Zu'ar. Their feeling towards the Zu'ar are conflicted... as they feel minor guilt and loathing towards them at the same time. They're indifferent to the Drenas, having had no real contact with them.
