Finally, a new campaign...

I'd taken a long hiatus from Tal while running my sci-fi campaign, Timeon Rizer, but finally got off my bum and am now kneedeep in another Tal campaign — this makes for about 4 campaigns I've run in Tal.

The current campaign will emerge into chapters, as follows:

This time around I have 6 brand new Tal players (3 male & 3 female); originally they were a bit overwhelmed by all the richness of the Tal universe, but a few games in and they're feeling right at home. I'm taking an open-ended campaign approach this time – i.e., not scripting out some epic adventure – and letting the initial pieces fall as they will, thereby allowing the players to freely pursue small plots and roleplay to the hilt first. For the love of Nefaratus, I haven't the foggiest where it'll end up.

Through the entire Saga of Annon, we've used the venerable 3rd Edition rules – waiting for the 4th Edition to ship.
